Who Goes to Mars to Turn It Off and On Again?

Event language:

Recording of the May 26, 2026 event at Share Café in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan).

Davide Trezzi, Software Engineer at Kalpa, presents “Embedded::Universe: software as the last line of defense in deep space”.

In extreme environments like space, software is often the only way to react to failures and unexpected conditions. Through real cases and historic missions, the talk shows why design, testing, remote debugging and the ability to update code are essential to keep mission-critical embedded systems alive once the hardware is out of reach. The session includes a demo and a Q&A.

Event organized in partnership with Kalpa.
